HUNTING SITKA BLACK TAIL DEER
ODOCOILEUS HEMIONUS SITKENSIS

We hunt these rain forest dwellers during the peak of the November rut. Calling with a blade of grass is the method we use. It's not uncommon to call 6 bucks in a day.

Southeast Alaska is famous for their red-horned bucks. They've been transplanted to many islands such as Kodiak, although their origin is Sitka, Alaska.

All hunts are fair chase, spot and stalk.
